Jane Hou's passion for music and teaching started in Maureen Hollins' piano studio. Later, she studied piano with Jamie Syer and MayLing Kwok at the University of Victoria. At the Victoria Conservatory of Music, she learnt piano pedagogy with the late Winifred Wood and Linda Stobbe, as well as music theory with Dr. Stephen Brown. Currently, Jane teaches from home to home and she is fluent in Mandarin as well. Jane loves to teach young children the enjoyment of music and has an engaging approach to encourage her students.
